object story

On: August 31st, 2012 at 8:46 pm | In: Uncategorized

This is the story of my object.

My object is: My blue sunglasses

1: Discovery.

This is the story of my first encounter with this object. This is my first impression of the object.

My first encounter with my sunglasses was when me and my friend Chelsey went to anchorage and went on a shopping spree and I got new sunglasses that I actually liked.

2: Meaning.

This is how my object gained meaning. This is how my object’s meaning has changed over time.

My object gained meaning to me by all the funny things that all my friends have done and said with my sunglasses. Ands aslo my objects meaning to me is good, because they protect my eyes. But also they are one of three of my favorite colors. The meaning might change over time by how I feel about them.

3: Value.

This is what my object says about me.

The value of my sunglasses is great because they are the only ones i actually have and that they can hide what my eyes are saying( tired, crying, happy, sad, ect.)

4: Reward.

This is the best reward I get from owning my object.

My greatest reward with my sunglasses is that they are really helpful and that when I look up in the sky on a nice sunny day I dont burn my eyes.

5: Sharing.

If I were to give this object to someone else, this is who I’d give it to, and this is what I would sayto them.

If I would give my sunglasses to anyone it would have to be my little brother because he is one of my many brothers I actually like in my family. What I would say to him is take care of these like it is Willow(his little sister).

6: Description.

This is what my object looks like, feels like, and smells like.

My object looks like a regular pair of sunglasses but they are a baby blue, my object feels really smooth, But my object does not smell like anything.

7. More.

This is another short story about my object. Or, this is a space for me to write even more about my object’s Discovery, Meaning, Value, Reward, & Sharing.

The way I discovered my object is I was looking at sunglasses because I kinda lost mine and when I found them they were smashed. so the first ones I looked at had a mustache, but I didn’t like those so I looked a little longer and I found the blue onse I have now.

The reward for my sun glasses to me is big because i use them when its sunny. But mainly i love them because they are one of the things that can help with eye site, but not a lot of people actually look in the sun so they don’t have to worry about it. But others do it for fun i don’t do it so i don’t need to worry about it but its still a good thing to wear.

point of view scavenger hunt

A tree from a worm’s eye view

Make a tall person look small

Make a small person look tall

Photograph the same grave from a worm’s eye view and then again from a crane’s eye view

Photograph something close-up and then again far away so that each photo looks like it is a different object/place.

Can you trick us?  Take a photo that plays with our sense of space so that we are confused about point of view, proportion, and scale
